Chef Gary Caron has been honing his craft in Maine and New England since he began his cooking career here over thirty years ago. Craftsmanship and care are the forces behind the refined New England cuisine that he has brought to Stripers Waterside Restaurant since the spring of 2009. Chef Gary’s focus on superb local ingredients and seasonality bring a fresh flavor to all of Stripers’ dishes. The time spent working on his grandparents’ southern Maine farm instilled in him a deep respect for the ingredients showcased by his culinary style. Creatively prepared seafood from the Gulf of Maine and the finest meats and produce of New England are the hallmarks of his seasonally inspired menus.
Stripers Waterside Restaurant is located in the Breakwater Inn, overlooking the mouth of the Kennebunk River on Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport.
